Are nuts bad for you⁉️

Everytime I recommend someone include nuts in their diet, I’m generally asked whether they’re bad for us or which nuts are good for us.⁣
⁣…
They’re all good for us. Infact Very good. (Until or unless you’re allergic to it.)⁣
⁣…
ARE YOU SURE THEY’RE GOOD FOR US❓
🔸️Full of good unsaturated fats, mostly monounsaturated but some include polyunsaturated.(healthy fats)
🔸️Provide protein and fibre⁣
🔸️Include vitamins and minerals like magnesium, Vitamin E and iron⁣
🔸️A whole bunch of phytochemicals ⁣
⁣….
PROVE IT
Consuming a small handful (30g portion) of nuts at least 4 times per week is associated with:⁣
🔸️Reduced risk of Type 2 Diabetes⁣
🔸️Improving “bad” cholesterol levels⁣
🔸️Reduced risk of overall heart disease ⁣
🔸️Aids in weight management ⁣
🔸️Literally living longer, healthier lives than those who do not eat nuts regularly⁣.
⁣….
HOW TO INCLUDE NUTS⁉️
🔸️Grab a handful⁣ (not means every nuts in a handful amount but mixed nuts in handful amount )
🔸️Dip Apple slices in 1tbsp peanut butter⁣
🔸️Spread 1tbsp almond butter on toast.
🔸️Sprinkle over dishes like curries⁣
🔸️Add into your smoothies⁣
🔸️Sprinkle over desi desserts.
🔸️Grind them and have it with warm milk.(healthiest option)
